AIBU not to trust the UNHCR?

I came across a Freedom of Information request put forward by the Barnabas Fund, a charity that aids persecuted Christians across the world. It would seem that the UNHCR being an alleged prestigious organisation is actively discriminating against Syrian Christians. This does not seem right at all: barnabasfund.org/en/news/no-christians-at-all-among-1112-syrian-refugees-resettled-in-the-uk-this-year#

Who are the UNHCR

This could potentially be a problem with our system rather than the UNHCR. We accept referrals from camps. Christians have frequently been reluctant to enter camps due to violence and discrimination. There have been reports of forced convertions in camps.

If Christians won't enter the camps, I'm not sure how they'd get here. I imagine similar is true for Yazidi.

UNHCR: United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

This is why the Barnabas Trust exists because of Christian persecution, I think it is inexcusable that we do not support resettlement of Christian refugees for exactly the reasons you mention. Another example being Asia Bibi...

United Nation High Commission for Refugees. I don't know about the issue in the OP, but they're one of the charities for which I have a standing order for donations so I get regular updates from them. They do really vital work supporting refugees and displaced people around the world.

Except if they are Syrian Christians it would seem

I don't know anything about that so can't comment. But I do know that many, many people around the world have benefited from the work that they do.
