Holding things against a friend?

Friend owes me money and had borrowed clothes that have never been returned - for 18 months.

I’ve asked for them back countless times and nothing but excuses.

Now I’ve been told we’re not friends because I hold things (the above) against her?

Confused

Aibu to think it’s ok to hold this against someone if they still haven’t given you your things back?

I mean I’d understand if I lent a tenner and she paid back after a month but I kept bringing it up.

This friend would rather keep your possessions than keep you as a friend, it seems.
