AIBU to ask any medical professionals to look at photos of my eye waterline? (Anaemia?)

I am due to have a blood test next Friday to determine whether I have any deficiencies including iron.

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to look at the attached photos to see whether they think that my eye water line is paler than normal which may indicate that my iron levels maybe low?

I know it will be confirmed on not when I receive the blood tests, I am just been a little inpatient/worrying!

Thank you for looking!

Yes, I'd say so. But difficult from a photo and not looking at both eyes and in normal light.

That’s such a blunt tool as to not be helpful. Are you known to be anaemic? Are the additional tests to check for deficiencies or to check for anaemia? Amongst most people detecting pale conjunctiva is so variable and subjective so as not to be helpful. It also isn’t specific for iron levels at all.

As frustrating as it is, wait for the blood results.

Did you end up being anaemic?

This is an old thread, but thankfully I didn't 🥰 I'm still not!
