So, awhile ago I missed some pills due to forgetting and loads of stuff going on. Fast forward to now I thought I could be pregnant, I tested this morning and it was negative. My partner and I own a house, both have great jobs but don't want a child for awhile longer... But I feel really upset that Im not pregnant! Is this normal? Aibu? Partner says I am crazy to be Upset! Hmm

You can't help how feel. I've had a similar thing happen years ago when we were definitely not trying/wanting to get pregnant but I was late and I starting thinking well it might be nice and DH was definitely not!

Turned out I wasn't and I did feel a pang of disappointment.

Maybe talk to DH about coming off the pill and trying for a baby now if you think the time is right?

I have 4 children and most months a day or so before my period is due I get a hormonal rush of wanting to be pregnant and then a massive let down when I am not, and we are not having any more children.

For some it is a perfectly natural reaction to hormone levels, probably mixed in with a desire to have children. We all react differently to differing levels of hormones in our bodies.

Well I still haven't had a period yet so who knows!
