Hi there
One of the young chaps i advocate for, is currently on contributions based ESA (wrag)
He has always worked until six months ago, but does have a life limiting illness, he is single and lives alone
He is tentatively looking to take on some part time work in his previous field
we have looked on the citizens advice web page...but am looking for some real life stories...
Is he likely to be penalised for going to work?
It wont be an easy task for him by any means, but he really does want to do it, as long as he doesnt end up worse off, as he is struggling at the min, all he gets is housing benefit and £72 esa - no other income
Anyone else got any real life tales of this kind of situation
