To get annoyed at people driving wrong way up one way street?

We live in a crescent, that's one way.

Since we got a car I have noticed that heaps of people who live down our end of the crescent duck up the wrong way.

We almost had an altercation the other day when DH went off at a numbskull coming up the wrong way.

Are we the only ones to find this really annoying, not to mention potentially dangerous?

Is it clearly signed?
I drove up a one way street oblivious in error.

The cars all pointing one way should be a bit of a clue .

I've done it myself but in my tiny bit of defence, it was a two-way street at the top part but switched halfway down. And I thought everyone was being friendly waving at me as I drove merrily along.

I annoys me and I don't even drive. I live on a one way street which has traffic calming measures instituted because it used to be a major rat-run between two very busy roads. The upshot is that the one way signing, speed-bumps and speed limit are ignored in both directions. Nightmare!
