I think it's best to eat it all in one go. THen it doesn't sit around for a couple of days taunting you every time you go in the kitchen.

i have eaten 7 jaffa cakes today

I keep having to force myself not to buy the new strawberry cheesecake in our supermarket because I eat the whole thing by myself! (I am in Germany so it's amazing to see a real cheesecake)

I have bought 6 mini choc cakes from somerfield today - have eaten 3 of them (with DS's help ). There was just... something so delicious about them... mmmmm

My advice is, eat slices of the gateau, but intersperse with glasses of wine to slow you down

Def. Today I have eaten a box of choc fingers and have started on the ice cream. Once it has gone I can start again

with a glass of white wine please....
