Every time I leave the house I feel like I get bombarded with people pushing buggies at me, they have no sense of direction or personal space and it's driving me absolutely insane! LOOK WHERE YOU'RE GOING! Rant over Grin

Yep they are pushing them at you. Hmm

YANBU. A few years ago I had one run into the back of my legs while I was standing in a queue in a shop. I yelped in surprise and pain. The woman pushing it then shouted at me to look where I was going. I pointed out that I wasn’t going g anywhere and she kept shouting at me across the shop. I complimented her on being such a great mum that she was using her child’s pushchair as a weapon. Not my proudest moment and I’m still annoyed!

Grimbles · 05/11/2018 16:55

Have you considered you might be the one walking into them?

SilverySurfer · 05/11/2018 16:55

It must be really annoying. I don't have your problem since I am always on my mobility scooter when I'm out and if a buggy were to be pushed at me, scooter wins Smile

They are way more important than you as they have given birth quite recently!
They are special.
Hope you bop to the side each and every time you go out!

There is lot more charging forwards and expecting everyone else to make way these days buggy or not I find

Poodles1980 · 05/11/2018 17:38

You should probably stay home and take cover or failing that get some protective equipment, cricket pads might be a good starting point

LeggyLinda · 05/11/2018 17:44

YANBU
I feel bad saying this, but some buggy users need to be aware that other people exist. And yes sometimes they do deliberately push them into you - I have seen buggy pushers walk in a perfectly straight line and then change direction as they approach (with no apparent obstacles).

I blame these tractor-type fashion accessory buggies which are built for style/show off more than safety or practicality
