Get a reconditioned one off Amazon for £100. My Dell looks new & is still great 2years later. All the Office stuff like Excel, PowerPoint etc already on it. Best bargain ever.

Do you have a link to the Amazon £200 laptop? I tried looking and couldn't find any Dell laptops for £200 with all the software packages on them. Thx

What aspects are important to you?

Weight?
Battery life?
Screen size?
Keyboard type?
Operating System?

More information would be useful to help give advice. :)

I've just bought this one for my mum: www.johnlewis.com/asus-chromebook-c302ca-intel-core-m3-4gb-ram-64gb-emmc-12-5-inch/p3177349 gets good reviews and is within your budget

Just got a refurbished Lenovo off Amazon for £270. Absolutely brilliant, solid state drive, fast processor, lots of memory. A bit apprehensive when buying it, but I've bought refurbs previously and been happy with them. You can get ones that were £750-£1000 new just a couple of years ago for £200-£300 now, which are still plenty powerful enough for average use.

I only ever buy laptops from private sellers on ebay, those with good rating over all and haven't had any issues in the last 4 years. Last one I got was Dell with rubbish battery which seller was honest about (I got a replacement one for £22 off Amazon). This cost me all in total £170 for Dell i7 2 GHz processor , 8 GB RAM, Win 10 Pro, N5110. It sits on my dining table, doesn't overheat, I can't complain Smile
