Neighbours in the next close were partying from 1am right through to half 8 in the morning my poor DS who's 5 months hasnt had a wink of sleep n at half 8 this morning I phoned 999 as obvious sounds of fighting n by sounds of things some girl getting battered but typically soon as police arrive they shut up now I can hear them at it again n no chance are we listening to that all night n having a wide awake grumpy teething child

No it's not unreasonable, I doubt they will do anything but get an incident number and then ring your local council in the morning. The more evidence they have the more they have to do something.

Usually their no bother but last night just took the piss I'm completely shattered but thankfully DS has napped on n off all day. I'll be glad to see bedtime (if they keep quiet)

That sounds awful. I would report.

Is it a privately owned home? If not you may be able to report to the housing association, I have had to do this where I live a few times.

@cunnyfunt18 thanks ours is our alcoholic early 60s narcissist neighbour two weeks ago she was blaring smooth radio so loud I had to cover my 6 year olds ears so he could sleep.

She's gone quiet since we complained to the council (she wouldn't come to the door) but out in a counter complaint about the noise of our children! I wish she'd f off and live somewhere else!

Aw no @Emotionalfuckwit that sounds awful, what an absolute nightmare she sounds vile... I would totally be playing tit for tat and have kids running wild when she was hungover (childish as that may be)

@Cunnyfunt18 it's been going in for 4 years on and off! We are being the perfect neighbours so she looks even worse than she is. She never leaves the fucking house either!! I'm hoping for a lottery win so I can move to a big sound proofed house in the middle of nowhere so I'll never be disturbed and my children can run wild 😂

Aw I can't stand the cold and you'd think being Scottish I'd be used to it haha its my ds I feel for his routine is all to pot today cause he never sleeps this much during the day n I've just had him nap for 3 ish hours right through his dinner time.

Ooh my husband is Northern Irish and I always see big houses in the middle of nowhere over there!
