Beginning to think the powers that be at MN are perhaps a bit England-centric to put it politely.

Agreed. Some mods seem so hair trigger delete happy and I think it is for their own sense of self-importance. I wonder if they are paid mods? Maybe they are trying to justify their job. But simply because a mod thinks a thread won't 'help anybody' is no reason to delete it.

Totally agree. The worse ones are where the majority of posters disagree with the OP who flounces off and demands the thread be taken down for fear of being outed in real life. Yeah, there can only be a handful of women married to a man, with two school age children living in the UK right? Hmm

It makes me mad that MNHQ panders to them, they never used to in the past.
