AIBU to miss my DC?

We have a party to go to tonight so my in-laws kindly said that they would have our dc (3yo and 1.5yo) to stay at theirs last night (so we could have a lie in and feel refreshed for the party) and tonight (so we can sleep off the inevitable hangover tomorrow!).
They’ll be having a brilliant time, adore their grandparents and they’ve stayed over for one night before but I feel terrible! I’m missing them like crazy and keep getting teary!
Someone tell me to give my head a wobble and enjoy the peace and quiet and an adult night out!! 😂

Yes,enjoy your evening love.

It is good for kids to spend time with extended family - and good for you to spend time being 'a couple' alone with your partner

Have fun, get a wine on the go, its never too early
