Have ordered click and collect food shopping to pick up this morning. Nothing in the house to eat. Woken up to DD (2) with a sickness bug. WIBU to take her to collect the shopping? DH is at work. We would literally just be collecting.

do you have to go inside? all the supermarkets i know have a little booth that you drive into and a screen then they bring it out to you. you wouldn’t even be going near anybody.

I've never actually used it before (we usually get it delivered), so if that's the case it should be fine!

What was you going to feed your child for breakfast?

Course it's alright. Even if you do have to go indoors you'll only be a minute or two

We used click and collect from Tesco, and our order was on the back of a van, at the click and collect point in the car park. Dh did have to go in and tell them we were there, and then a member of staff came and helped load it all into the car.

I don't think it would be too difficult for you to nip in with dd, to tell them you are there, and then she can go straight back into the warm car, whilst you load the shopping into the boot.
