History of Center Parcs Sherwood

Did anyone go in its early years? How has it changed? There is an area at the back of the swimming pool that seems to be an original spa or pool? A 5 metre pool and a hexagonal spa pool. Both are along a small corridor lined with lots of rooms.

Thinking of doing a project related to this for Hospitality and Tourism project Uni.

I know the area you mean but not sure what the answer is. You might try looking on the Newark and Sherwood planning website to see what permissions were granted at different times for different parts of the centre parts site.

It used to have tv adverts, I always thought that it was all under a giant glass dome. I was very disappointed when I found out otherwise.

I first went 20 years ago, the main pool building hadn't changed until earlier this year when they started building work. We've been every year.

The spa pool and exercise pool have been there for years alongside the main pool.
