Had a big bowl of sweets for the trick or treaters and about 4 kids in when a little girl comes, reaches into the bowl and takes two giant handfuls! I said "oh no, let's put some back so the other children can have some" and she just ignored me, dumped them in the bag while her mother at the gate smiled and said "thanks!".
Learnt my lesson and started giving what is left of the sweets out myself one at a time. Not that there's many.
Aibu to think the mum (who did hear me) should have backed me up to make her put at least one handful back?
Sorry about the rant, it's given me the rage!
