Been out trick or treating with my 3 year old DS in one house he was given a dark choc frys peppermint cream bar. He is now in bed asleep and It is staring at me from his treat bucket........

Nah. He won't like it. You're doing him a favour!

Hammond did just announce that he was putting up mummy tax in the budget. It equates to exactly one fry’s dark chocolate mint cream and a fun size packet of malteasers, also a packet of Parma violets.

Go for it! Tell him it was the fairies.

DanielRicciardosSmile · 31/10/2018 19:25

Unless your 3 year old has very advanced tastes in chocolate he'll hate it. Eat it and, if you feel bad tomorrow, buy him a Freddo in the morning.

LunaTheCat · 31/10/2018 19:30

You deserve it. You spend ages getting him ready so he was super hallowinish, getting treats neighbours kids. He will be on such a sugar high that he won’t miss it.

I always used to pinch DD’s when she was younger. Probably wouldn’t get away with it now!

Littlechocola · 31/10/2018 19:36

Don’t eat your son

CheshireChat · 31/10/2018 20:04

If he'd enjoy it, then no. You have the option to buy your own, however he doesn't. I'd still replace it though.

If he doesn't like them, then sure. My kid prefers dark chocolate, but would hate the peppermint (which proves he's got good taste as I'm exactly the same Wink).

CheshireChat · 31/10/2018 20:05

Meant to say I'd replace it if I've eaten it.
