To start a new creepy/woo story thread for Halloween?

Has anyone had any unexplainable experiences on Halloween in particular?

I have no story to add but have been surprised at the lack of an 'official woo thread's this year. Maybe everyone's already told their stories before. Or maybe I missed it!

The night in Pype Hayes Hall. I was about 8 or 9.

I was there for about two hours when a book hit me hard in my back. There was nobody standing behind me to throw it at me and I was at least five feet away from the bookcase behind me at the time. Someone who saw it say it just flung itself from the bookcase

My sister and I were looking around a room that was used as an office and the light kept turning off after we switched it on. In the end while it was on, frustrated, I switched it off and then the light turned on and off really rapidly. We ran from the room! It was in Winter and it was going from light to complete darkness so it was scary.

That same night I also woke up to find a man in old fashioned clothes, a top hat and a monocle smoking a pipe. I coughed when the smoke from the pipe came near me and he disappeared in front of my eyes. I buried myself under the covers petrified and felt weight sit down on my legs as though someone was sitting on them or near them. Never felt so petrified in my entire life.
