Mini boden catalogue just dropped through door.

In the Boys section (“typical” boy colours, advertised by boy models), we have trousers with reinforced “warrior” knees.

In the Girls section we have leggings with cute decorative appliqué knees. Not a reinforced knee in sight.

Applause, Boden. Well done.

Boden clothes are shit. Shop in Sainsbury's, it's 25% off until tonight

Boden kids wear is generally great quality. I don’t buy often as it’s too pricey. But none of the supermarket stuff I buy washes as well.

Also don’t agree that they just do “boys colours”.

mastertomsmum · 29/10/2018 14:09

Boden clothes always lasted less well than cheaper brands when I used to buy them for my son.

Also, they had huge waists on elasticated things but were quite short so not even useful sizing.

The women's clothes are over priced and for thin women with short arms. On a good day I can aim for former but never latter

Buy the "boys" leggings then.

Sorry, yabu, I love Boden kids wear.
And, for me personally, with two girls who like girls stuff, and don't need warrior knees, it's useful for me to have all the clothes they'll like in the same section.

I think their kids stuff is brilliant. We’ve had stuff that has lasted through 4 years of wear through my kids then been passed on to friends and still going strong. I can’t be bothered to get upset about reinforced knees or not. The stuff is nice, washes well and lasts ages.

Most shops are shite like this.
Who is going to ever see the gap in the market to just create kids clothes and sell them as kids clothes.
Literally baffles me
