To feel so unsure about going back to work

I feel like I am a lesser person than some of my career friends - plus I envy the social side of work not to mention financial freedom.

However, I adore bringing up my children full time, am house proud and quite like being able to mooch about and have lunch with friends as and when.

I’m so stuck for what to do and can’t be the first

I can’t imagine not working, it’s such an important part of my identity - so I totally get why it’s hard to give up. Could you do something part time?

I didn't work in the early years but have to now. I'd go back to not working in a flash. I loved the freedom. I find my job stressful. But each to their own.

My job requires childcare as it incorporates funny hours...which is OK but the guilt kicks in and my eldest doesn’t enjoy it.

I was thinking about new ideas that I could do from home but am not skilled enough in any particular field
