In short homeless charity boss ‘told she won’t get Lottery funding unless she stops criticising Universal Credit’ and 'to play the game'. I work in charities, and whilst I think this is outrageous, this is not uncommon. I knew of charities threatened to stay quiet after grenfell and countless other national and international issues. How can a civil society exist, one where people are supposed to challenge, engage and critically question the world around them, when the very voices of that, our charities, hands are tied!!!
