Husbands FB "interested in Women"

Is this simply a statement of sexual preference or is there more to it?
On FB both of us haven't declared a relationship status.
I mostly use mine for the messenger application to connect with family abroad. Where as he has nearly 2k "friends". My profile pic is a family photo with our kids, his is a shot of him alone.
Should I be concerned about this or AIBU?

Just ask him to take it off.

M0gg · 26/10/2018 15:25

It's just sexual preference and separate to relationship status. That said, I've never bothered answering it, why would anyone care?

JellyBears · 26/10/2018 15:25

It means his Sexual orientation not that he’s interested in finding women lol

araiwa · 26/10/2018 15:25

Are you a man or woman?

Namechanger55555 · 26/10/2018 15:25

No don't be concerned
I think there's the options.

Interested in men,
Interested in women,
Prefer to not say.

Or something like that. You obviously don't have to fill in every question. But those are the available answers

chillpizza · 26/10/2018 15:26

I thought is was fb version of asking gay/straight/bi.

Bambamber · 26/10/2018 15:26

YABVU

I am a happily married woman and have mine set to 'interested in men's and my profile picture is just of me. There is nothing to it. It's Facebook, you are reading far too much into it

Glumglowworm · 26/10/2018 15:27

It’s just saying he’s straight

It’s only a problem if you’re a man!

Failingat40 · 26/10/2018 15:40

Who's he got in amongst the 2000 friends?

Interested in.... is a sexual preference but not one that you'd think a married person would use.

Facebook does have a seedy side...

ineedanotherwine · 26/10/2018 15:41

Thanks everyone, I'm so glad I asked here and didn't kick off about it.
I'm not normally a suspicious person, I was just reviewing my settings because I'm on a job hunt and want it suitable for prospective employers. I was comparing mine to his for some reason and I was surprised to see "interested in women".
Cheers for your thoughts! X
