Had my mot done on Monday and the car passed but had an advisory for new front tyres. Booked it in for today at 9.30 as the garage needed to order them in. Fine, I understand that.
Arrived at 9.30 and was told that he couldn't do it right now as he had too many people booked in and said I can leave the car there and come back in an hour. I said ok as I needed to do some shopping anyway.
Got back at 10.45 to the garage saying they've sent the wrong tyres and can i come back this afternoon at 3.30.
The cost is £120 for 2 tyres. Not massively expensive I know but WIBU to ask for a discount for the inconvenience?

From the tyre supplier or garage?

DeltaFlyer · 25/10/2018 11:34

The garage that is doing the work as they're the ones I'm in the contact with. The company that supplies the tyres to the garage is their issue to resolve

You can ask but I expect they’ll say that it’s out of their hands and just something you have to reasonable expect in these circumstances.

I’d just book in somewhere else tbh.
