To ask where do you get winter boots for a toddler

... with feet like King Edward potatos?!

DS has big feet (more over the top of the foot than width). He's 16m old and in a 5.5H about to go in to a 6H.

Where the heck do I find winter shoes/boots that will keep his feet warm and some to wear with his snowsuit for the colder days?

I haven't seen anything in Clarks and even then they're out of our budget for now. How do their wellies fit? Do they do liners to keep feet warm? (Can only seem to find a few odd sizes on ebay anyway 😭)

Kickers?

Tk maxx and try them all on...I think American stuff tends to me wider and European stuff skinnier.

You could buy thick socks and wellies (next wellies are good). Helps keep feet warm. Primary have good, cheap thick socks that don't fall down. I've had some great good as new bargain Clarks shoes off ebay, might be worth a try if new are too pricey.

Ugg toddler range boots are the bees knees

Came here to say tk maxx, or try decathlon if you have one near you, their cold weather clothing for dcs is the best in terms of quality/price/practicality imo.

Centre aisle of lidl and aldi often have decent kids’ snow boots and nice waterproof trouswrs wtc too, it’s just a matter of being there at the right time which i appreciate is tricky.

Sorel on Zalando. My toddler has big feet and I find they fit well.

I was going to suggest snow boots too - try decathlon or mountain warehouse for decent quality ones that aren't too expensive. We went skiing in April and got some for DS who was just coming up to 2 and he managed really well in them even though he can't walk in normal wellies.

JoJoMamanBebe snow boots or wellies with liners

jjemimapuddleduck · 25/10/2018 09:30

I stumbled across the store for the first time a few weeks ago, it is very cheap and decent. These boots very lightweight for toddlers too.
