GO OUT

but dh wants to stay in

ffs how many times do you get the chance to go out without dc's? erm not a lot.

he says we are both tired, well yes dd 3 and ds 2 months so not surprising, and we should stay in get take away and watch a film

this loosley translated means we'll get food then search sky for a film, but they'll be bugger all on as per and we'll watch the same old stuff as usual. one of us will end up on the computer and the other will fall asleep.

All i want to do is maybe go out to eat then the cinema.

now we've argued about it

What a shame! Could you go out with a girlfriend instead? (Know it's not the same)

NikkiBFG · 16/06/2007 14:27

Boring fecker!!! Go out with a mate and make sure you tell him what a GREAT time you had when you get back!!

Eddas · 16/06/2007 14:27

probably but we never see each other so want to see him.

Well not at the moment since he's really hacked me off

OP posts:
Pixiefish · 16/06/2007 14:31

I'd go out anyway

NikkiBFG · 16/06/2007 14:32

Promise him a B/job if he goes out with you...he goes out, you have fun then when you get back, tell him you are too full to do anything!!!! ha ha!!

Oblomov · 16/06/2007 14:33

Make up, beg him, tell him your'll put on your sexy pants...
How can the man refuse ?

Eddas · 16/06/2007 14:35

i'm sure we will go out in the end, i normally win

Sexy pants with my butt!!!

OP posts:
Oblomov · 16/06/2007 14:42

oh pleeeeeease, no matter what size, all men love sexy pants

Emmymummy · 16/06/2007 14:43

Eddas I would kill to go out for a child-free meal & cinema right now. You must go out, and then come back and tell me what it's like.

LynetteScavo · 16/06/2007 14:45

Stay in and send your baby sitter to me. I really want to go out tonight, but DH already has plans, and we can't find a sitter. Your DH is being more than unreasonable.

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 16/06/2007 14:52

Insensitive doo-dah ...... go out on your own!! Grrr! {{{{{{hugs}}}}}

elkiedee · 16/06/2007 15:30

Hope you sort it out and make up the argument in time to go out.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 16/06/2007 15:32

Does he go out to work all day and you stay at home with dcs? If so you probably desperately need to get out of the house and he should take that seriously.

CuttingCod · 16/06/2007 15:33

he is odd

go otu of an early evenign pizza

DeviousDaffodil · 16/06/2007 15:34

What a waste of a babysitter. Boring old fart!

Eddas · 16/06/2007 15:48

Thanks ladies, didn't think I was being unreasonable

AND we are now going out, horah!!! Told you i'd win

Think we are off to the cinema so i'm very happy!!

Kathy, yep he is at work i'm at home, mostly, unless i'm at work(even though should be on ML) I do indeed need to leave the house. Have serious cabin fever

Kathyis6incheshigh · 16/06/2007 15:52

Cinema is a great idea anyway because if he's that tired he can just fall asleep - just choose a film with not too many loud bangs.

Have a lovely time &

Eddas · 16/06/2007 17:08

AHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh dc's are now out yay!!!

We are off to the early showing of Ocean's Thirteen. Then getting some food. Bring it home to eat and have a relax with a Vodka and coke or two for me and beer for dh.

Yipee we managed to agree and we're both happy

OP posts:
toomuchtodo · 16/06/2007 17:10

I'll go out with you!

DeviousDaffodil · 16/06/2007 17:16

Sounds great. HAve a fabb time.

Eddas · 16/06/2007 17:16

aw thans toomuchtodo, where are you? Fancy watching Brad Pitt and co do there stuff

OP posts:
duchesse · 16/06/2007 17:21

Nah, don't give in. Go out- you'll feel much better and so will he from leaving behind the daily routine for a few hours. Go to the cinema and see a grown-up film. Eat out somewhere you wouldn't dare take the children.

toomuchtodo · 16/06/2007 17:27

God yeah I do!

I'm in Glasgow!

Eddas · 16/06/2007 17:38

Toomuchtodo, might be a bit of a trek to Kent then!!!

Will drool for you

duchesse, you are totally right. Hoepfully no animation or blardy nursery rhymes in Oceans 13 Not sure about the eating out. Will see how dh feels after the film, might be able twist his arm. Mind you funds are short as usual!

OP posts:
pointydog · 16/06/2007 17:49

It's often like that - get a sitter, feel too tired to go out. But when you are actually out, bet you both enjoy it.
