To ask for holiday/Brexit help

Shamelessly posting for traffic.

Give me the actual scoop on booking a hol for me and DP in April? I'm at college so term time is our only honeymoon option so we are booking something in April.

However I am aware Brexit will have happened 3 weeks prior. Am I being silly to worry? Will we be okay booking something? Will flights be grounded? Will we be scrambling to get visas? Will we get the cost of the holiday back if the above happens and makes it impossible to actually get away?

Genuinely not sure whether to go ahead and book or just wait and try plan something in the UK.

When do you need to book by?

The risk is if there isn't a deal as far as I can tell. It could cause chaos in lots of unforeseen ways (see today's news about stockpiling medicines and chartering flotillas of boats to get supplies in).

We should have a good indication by mid December as to whether a deal will be struck, so if you could wait until then it might put your mind at rest?

I mean, I am erring towards it being ok, but I don't want to waste my money so I'm holding off booking our Easter trip until there is certainty.

@FridayThirteenth luckily we could definitely wait until we are into the new year to book anything. Looked on gov.uk and both our passports are in the validity date so I'm thinking I'll wait until January and see where we are at/think about booking then!
