To not give my kids a bath

It's late. We've had a long evening out doing various stuff and only just got in. I have health problems and am currently struggling to manage pain levels. Normally it would be bath night. We do it every other night.

AIBU to skip it just this once? They both have swimming in the morning and have to shower before they get in the pool.

Can't work out if it is super scuzzy to send them to school tomorrow after not having a bath and hair wash since Tuesday night. Currently DH is putting their pjs on and plans to listen to them read. I'm lying flat on my back as in pain.

Nope better to wash them after swimming to get the chlorine off. Find some painkillers and try to rest.

Meh nobody ever died from skipping a bath
Give them a wash tomorrow after swimming, better that they won't smell of pool anyway

I skipped the baths. I’m sure I didn’t bathe as much as mine when I was a kid, but then I might have been really smelly.

Meh. Mine have a bath or shower three times per week and hair wash once a week. Only need more if it’s hot outside

😂 I wash my 2yo and 7mo once a week if I can get away with it. Too much washing is bad for your skin and hair

Can’t your DH do it whilst you are in such pain?
Its not super scuzzy, and if they are young (ie not starting with BO through puberty) it will be fine though.
