to be really annoyed at letting agent for cancelling viewing for a house that we have already put a payment on that only holds it for two weeks (£160), i have seen it but my DP hasnt and i really wanted him to see it before we properly went ahead.
Am very very annoyed, and feel that they have my money so dont care about being at all helpful! if its not sorted i will be spitting chips - in fact i am so enraged i may be able to spit curly fries

Grrrr

Tell me about it!

It's crap isn't it.

We have never rented before, we are having to do so because the house we were buying fell through, we cannot exchange on the sale of our house until we can firm up with the letting agents a moving date as they are still doing their reference checks. We have had to pay £220 to hold it.

how long does that hold it for? am annoyed because me and DP both work full time, i get back home at 6 and he does at 6.45 and they stop doing viewings at 5.30 but they are expecting me to view it in the week, wont flex to my needs and feel really angry about it, if i loose my cash payment i will kick and scream until i get it back

About 2 weeks I think. I had to go in the day with ds in tow.

the thing is i know DP will love it i would just prefere him to see it before we go ahead, i told them they arent getting the application forms until he's seen it, just feel so angry, they said they will call me back ages ago, we were supposed to be viewing it tomorrow

Gits!

ok, heres more, saturday they sent someone in on their day off, who was late, went to the wrong house, didnt have the keys, got some keys, couldnt get into the shed and then rushed us out!

thought we both like property so decided to go ahead, he handed in app forms (im not supposed to be referenced because am a temp and pregnant(or at least thats what they told me to get my money off me)) and want to charge an extra £135 to referance me on top of our £160 for 'referancing' which is unrefundable, so basically we have to pay £135 or lose £160, got annoyed with them, have been very calm with them so far but when i got told this i went a bit mad and they told me they would get their manager to call me first thing in the morning becasue of the hours i work, at 10 i called him myself just to speak to an arrogant condasending patronisingman who makes out he is doing me a HUGE favour to speak to the landlord? and see if i can just pay the amount i thought i was going to have to pay in the first place!

am i being unreasonable to think that this is extremely unfair?
