Inspired by a previous thread about unique interior designs in houses....I present to you, this!
Zoopla Goth House
Not sure what my favourite part is, but possibly either the tiger in the living room, Mary in the bathroom, or the bed with the cross and cherubs on it
wellthatsjustgreat · 18/10/2018 09:22
Take all the stuff out & it would be a beautiful house
MrsRespoDad · 18/10/2018 09:25
This has already featured on mumsnet, dear. I recognise the Blessed Virgin Mary in the bathtub.
Heuschrecke · 18/10/2018 09:26
There was a thread about this house a week, or so, ago. Love the house itself. Hopefully the current owner will be taking all their stuff with them though
TheFreaksShallInheritTheEarth · 18/10/2018 09:27
Yes, that house is already MN famous. Without all the stuff in it I'd love it!
BayTrees · 18/10/2018 09:31
I'm sure I've seen this on here before
. I'd have to empty out some of the stuff to cut down dusting. Otherwise amazing. Incredibly personal decoration but it suits the house! It could be fun to live in but I don't see how could get my art deco pieces to work. Haven't dared to look at the price!
SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 18/10/2018 09:32
That is fabulous! I'd give the poor dead tiger a decent burial, but then I'd happily move right in.
Parpulous · 18/10/2018 09:33
I spend half my life on mumsnet and managed to miss that thread! Bollocks...need to spend even more time here
Heuschrecke · 18/10/2018 09:38
I think someone on the other thread, and who lives near that area, said the POA is £2M.
Moreisnnogedag · 18/10/2018 09:48
That tiger is appalling and I’m amazed that they kept it in the pictures. I love how the Mary is offering hot baths for 25c! Also that the wallpaper and couch have the same design so its like a magic eye picture.
thegreylady · 18/10/2018 09:53
I hate it and would maybe pay 50p for a tour but wouldn’t live in it for anything.

I can't be the only one hoping that the owner has a matching dressing gown, so that they can perfectly blend in?? Excellent way to get some peace away from the kids!
belfastbosoms · 18/10/2018 09:58
I'd live there, as long as someone else did the cleaning!
Moreisnnogedag · 18/10/2018 10:05
Yes! Maybe they are there and jump out at viewers! It could be like one of those whodunnit films where it turns out the murderer was hidden on the sofa the entire time...

Ok now all I can think of is this:
So the head would be painted and everything. How could we guarantee the owner actually moves out after the house is sold? He could sneakily remain on the sofa in his dressing gown and painted face....watching.
Moreisnnogedag · 18/10/2018 10:19
And his wife could be a living statue. Perhaps the Mary in the bathroom? Would she give the game away by passing you a towel? Or requesting her 25c?
Red2017 · 18/10/2018 10:25
I love it as it is!!! Must be a bugger to keep clean though.

Love this!

Gorgeous house I'd have to get rid of the statues and the furniture but even as it is it's got a certain appeal to me
TheFreaksShallInheritTheEarth · 18/10/2018 11:43
Hmm, I liked the joke about the living statues staying in the house, but nonetheless got a bit about "The owner" and "his wife". Sounds a bit 1950s to me. Women own houses too these days.
