What's the aibu here?

MrsStrowman · 15/10/2018 09:39

They've said spring , which is vague. Was she pregnant at the wedding?.....

steff13 · 15/10/2018 09:41

A recently married woman who is nearing 40 is pregnant. I would imagine no one is surprised.

AuntBeastie · 15/10/2018 09:54

What’s surprising about it? I always thought they would be quick to get going, they’ve both talked about wanting children.

fuzzywuzzy · 15/10/2018 09:58

No a spring baby doesn’t mean she was pregnant on her wedding, my spring baby was conceived end of June.

They royal family don’t tend to give our exact due dates when announcing pregnancies (understandably given the media congregating outside the hospital)

AuntBeastie · 15/10/2018 10:06

And would it even matter if she was pregnant at the wedding? I don’t think anyone believes they waited til they were married to have sex...

PeasAreGreat · 15/10/2018 10:17

woopdidoo

Polarbearflavour · 15/10/2018 10:56

I knew it Wink

LaurieMarlow · 15/10/2018 10:59

Assuming she's about 12 weeks gone (they wouldn't announce before that) then she conceived sometime in July.

I'm very pleased for them.

Bluelady · 15/10/2018 11:04

Lovely news. Nice that they waited until after Eugenie's wedding to announce it.

puzzledlady · 15/10/2018 11:20

I think there are several thread about this already Smile

Redglitter · 15/10/2018 11:23

YABU to post yet another thread

CoughLaughFart · 15/10/2018 11:33

They've said spring , which is vague. Was she pregnant at the wedding?.....

Given that they got married in May, I would highly doubt it. I know spring is vague, but to describe February as spring is really pushing it.

I think there are just certain people who like to think she might have been up the duff going up the aisle and are desperate to judge her for it.

MrsStrowman · 15/10/2018 12:01

Either way how is it a place for judgement? It clearly wasn't a shot gun quickie wedding because she was pregnant 😂. I just wondered. I thought the wedding was June, March could be considered spring.

Judygarlandspills · 15/10/2018 12:02

If anyone is offended by the thread as there are several others- you are free not to click on it. Weirdos.

No they got married mid May.

My early March DC was conceived end of June.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/10/2018 12:06

I thought the wedding was June

It was the middle of May and the ITV royal correspondent who is wuththem in Aus has said she is around 12 weeks.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/10/2018 12:06

*with them

AuntBeastie · 15/10/2018 12:11

Wedding was 19 May so the absolute latest she could give birth if she was pregnant at the wedding is mid to late February. That’s not spring.

MrsStrowman · 15/10/2018 12:15

Sorry for not knowing the exact date of every royal wedding, it was literally a musing about time frames, some people take these things very personally it would seem 🤷

EmperorTomatoRetchup · 15/10/2018 12:21

Meghan is pregnant

Or more snappily, Meghnant

AuntBeastie · 15/10/2018 12:24

God, why is this thread so defensive? The provision of factual information is not an aggressive personal slight.

Meghnant

Of course nobody is surprised. At her age she had to get cracking pretty much immediately if she wanted to maximise her chances of having a healthy child.
