AIBU Peaky Blinders - unsuitable for an 11 & 12 year old?

Trying to find a new series to watch with our two ds - I am aghast that my husband thinks Peaky Blinders is suitable for pre teens!!! So AIBU or is he?

OMG brilliant show but completely and utterly inappropriate. I can't watch it sometimes its so violent and I'm 45!

Pesky Blinders is fantastic but your H is an idiot. If the Dutch think you need to be 16 to watch it, then that says something.

Definitely not suitable. Aside from the violence, the orgy scene was even too much for my 40 year old eyes
