I have a feeling I am being unreasonable as what do they care whether someone's baby is sleeping or not, but doesn't it annoy you when people drive really fast up short streets only to slam the brakes on again. I think I'm acting old before my time but the noise really annoys me when I'm out with a pram!!

YANBU - this is bad driving. It irritates the hell out of me too. We live on a cul-de-sac and there is a boy racer who speeds up the road shockingly fast and slams on the brakes outside his house. Always takes ages to parallel park his car too - god knows how he passed his driving test.

must be especially annoying for you trying to get a crying baby off to sleep!

It's annoying even when you DON'T have a baby! So YANBU. I have the same problem here and both my bedroom and what will be the nursery face onto the road, so it's going to be tough when the baby does come. They are just crap drivers. The road hasn't been properly surfaced either (new build estate) and I'm haf hoping that when they do finish it they'll put a few speed bumps in.

YANBU. There are some bloody shocking drivers around. I also hate it when they come too close to the pavement you're walking on. It's intimidating to see a wing mirror miss your elbow by an inch.

Buggers!
