What are you weirdly, irrationally stingy about? I am strangely stingy about throwing away kitchen sponges. A sponge literally has to be repulsive before I can bring myself to chuck it and get a fresh one out. Why is that? There are just some things that feel really decadent/indulgent to me and that is weirdly one of them, which makes no sense to me. Upon pondering this intriguing matter I began to feel curious about what things you are weirdly stingy about...

Eugh!! That'll mean it's clogged with bacteria 🤮

I thought I was bad with tooth paste til I met my husband who literally cuts open bottles of moisturiser to get the dregs out!

If there's anything to be stingy about, disgusting sponges aren't it.

The sponge thing is a bit grim...

I always make sure I get every last bit out of the toothpaste and butter.

If possible, I will cut the bottom off my plastic bottles of face and body moisturiser, it's too expensive to leave a bloody big dollop in the bottom.

DH is a tight about sponges and thise foamy dish cloths. We have words every month, it makes me feel sick that he will use a minging one to wipe down the kitchen tops with one. When I say, would you wipe your face with that - he looks me dead in the eye and says yes 'bloody liar'.

I do agree with April. I will cut the bottoms from expensive face creams, lotions and potions.

Another one who cuts the top of moisturiser tubes! It's expensive and there's always loads left!

sponge is grim but cloths I refuse to throw away and chuck in a really hot wash, but for all I know that's not actually helping.

also do the moisturizer thing, and with tubes of hair product. Dollops left in the bottom!

Ooh. Nutella n milk. So doing that at the bottom of the jar next time.

I’ve just obtained a toothpaste dispenser in a bid to get more out of the tube and to stop DD squirting willy nilly.
