What would you say about someone who does this - lighthearted

What would you say about someone in the family who:

1. Is all cuddly and sweet with you but when he sees your partner, he gets a very scared look on his face and runs away.
2. When you are not around, he is all sweet and cuddly with your partner.
3. When he sees another member of the family outside and coming to the door, he starts eating from their plate while they watch him from the other side of the glass door?

I'd say he is acting very strangely. If he is a three or four year old it might be joking behaviour but otherwise very odd.

Oh... a cat?

I'd be saying 'leave your sibling's food alone you greedy piglet' while thinking 'you're soooo cute' and reaching for the box of treats...

@CuriousaboutSamphire - yep. It's my older tom. We were just discussing him this morning with DH when I found him eating from my younger cat's dish - his was full and she was sitting behind the door looking at him very pissed off. Why she didn't use the cat flap to go inside and chase him away is beyond me but hey, logic and cats ....
He also does this with my DH - I am his body slave anyway. He sees me, he goes to me for cuddles. And when my DH comes over, he acts all scared, like he is afraid of him. But the moment I'm not there, he is all purry and cuddly with DH.
He's playing us well.

I was totally and completely wrong but as a male posting on here that will make loads of people happy.
