To think that Mumsnet is slow-moving these days?

Does anyone else think there aren't that many new threads and they don't move very fast these days? It's still a busy forum as it goes, but not as fast as it was?

I think it goes through phases. Xmas, back to school, ect generates issues. And time of day makes a difference.

At the mo lots of folks are embarking on the school run and then getting the dinner on. Busiest mid morning and then after 7pm IMO.

You are very likely correct Laiste I haven't picked up on the rhythms (took four goes to spell that!) of Mumsnet. I am not the observant type. Maybe after 7pm things will start zipping along Grin

I don't MN much at the weekend so i don't know what the pattern is on those days.

I think some of the best threads are started in the wee small hours by insomniac posters getting stuff of their chests. Then the rest of us tune in around breakfast time Grin

Grin I could have written a cracker last night. Had awful insomnia.

I learned a trick to spell rhythm at school: Rhythm Has Your Two Hips Moving.

I don't think there are as many interesting threads these days but maybe I've been around too long, I do think after a while threads tend to repeat themselves and it's never really a new insight, just the same old arguments.
