Ugh I'm sorry :( I remember when TTC being so convinced one month I was pregnant and then nada. It's a really shitty feeling and we had been trying nowhere near as long as you. Look after yourself and be kind to yourself this evening.

Have you had much in the way of investigations into the medical stuff yet? xx

goodlordwhathappened · 08/10/2018 16:47

I'm really sorry if I'm missing the obvious, but how do you know they are False positives?

I know how crap it is trying and trying but getting no where. I've had 2 miscarriages this year and 1 chemical. Life sucks but we just have to hold out hope it will happen one day xx

Celebelly · 08/10/2018 16:48

I assumed when reading that by false she just meant negative, but if they're showing a line then it might not all be lost! Six generally wouldn't lie.

SparklyMagpie · 08/10/2018 16:48

So sorry :(

Am I right in assuming you may have had a faulty batch of the simple&clear(?) That have been recalled for false positives?

Many apologies if not :(

Take it easy on yourself OP Flowers

Justanother. So sorry for what you’re going through. Life just keeps handing out lemons at times. And no you can’t just make fucking lemonade with them! Big hugs for you and DH

CaveMum · 08/10/2018 16:55

I’m sorry you are struggling, I know that feeling all too well.

Are you undergoing any treatment as you have PCOS? There are lots of potential treatment options (Clomid tablets didn’t work for me but Ovulation Induction injections did) to look at.

CaveMum · 08/10/2018 16:56

Another thing to ask, and I mean it as gently as possible, do you know how long after Ovulation you are? Even the most sensitive tests won’t pick up HCG if you test too early and peeing at this time of day isn’t generally advisable as the concentrations of the HCG are much lower than first thing in the morning when you haven’t peed all night.

calderdalechange · 08/10/2018 16:59

Oh love, I remember that feeling. It's shit, I'm sorry Thanks

SparklyMagpie · 08/10/2018 17:35

You know what, can I apologise to you OP

After reading some more comments I have misunderstood the situation completely :(

Very sorry!

If you have PCOS, are you taking metformin? It’s traditionally for diabetics but I’ve recently found out that it can help when TTC with PCOS. I know that’s off the point though! I wish you luck OP.
