How do you reply to people on these threads?

Sorry to be dense but I see people reply to people on threads by doing this;

I did that ^^ by typing the user name our long hand, then selecting it, then putting it into bold.

There must be a quicker way?

Also , I do the same when replying and quoting someone's reply. I copy it, paste it and make it bold. Is there a quicker way pls?

If you run your mouse over their name with the click held down, and highlight it, then CTRL + C to copy, you can then paste in by CTRL + V. Then all you have to do is add the @ and it will both bold itself and also send them an email saying they have been tagged.

Are you on the app or website.

If you're on the app you can just do the @ sign and it'll bring up a list of names to select
