No birthday wishes?

So of my group of 6 girlfriends, only one of them wished me a happy birthday.

AIBU to be slightly upset? All been friends for 15 years.

I know they are annoyed that I stopped drinking and so don't join them on big nights out anymore but always go when we are meeting for coffee or a meal or taking the kids/dogs to the park...

Should I say something?!

When was your birthday?

BIgBagofJelly · 06/10/2018 09:55

If they did it deliberately because you stopped drinking then yes that's awful. Do you all have Facebook so they would have been reminded? Do they always normally remember?

Pusheenicorn · 06/10/2018 09:57

It was yesterday, and yes have them all on the usual social media so I assume they would have known, plus chatting on Snapchat where my little Snapchat character thing had a party hat on and holding a Birthday cake (it does that itself I didn't do myself!!!)

They have always said happy birthday accompanied by an awful picture from a night out before.

That's horrible then YADNBU. If their friendship is so precarious that it falls apart when you stop drinking they sound like horrible friends.

It almost feels premeditated for ALL of them to not do it. Fair enough if one or two forgot...
