Christmas Jumpers in November?

MamaJune · 05/10/2018 18:30

We are taking our little ones to Center Parcs in mid November during their winter wonderland, we have booked a horse and carriage ride and to see Santa..etc and also doing the Festival of Lights at Longleat whilst we are there.

I said to DP I was on the look out for Christmas jumpers for the kids to wear whilst we are there on our Christmas Activity Day (when we see Santa and do the horse ride) he thinks I've lost my marbles.
Maybe I have, but I still want to do it! It's also my birthday and I just thought it would be a bit of fun Blush

AIBU? Happy to be told I am and I will return my flashing Santa earrings now Grin

I think it's a lovely idea.

Never wait for strangers' permission to have a bit of harmless fun.

Life really is too short Grin

You would not be alone; I saw a lady in my local supermarket the other day in full rig, including flashing lights on said jumper. As my late DM would say if someone commented on clothing, "If it's clean and paid for......."

Ok good 🎄

If you are asking if it is ok to wear Christmas jumpers on a Christmas ACtivity Day, then the answer is of course it is. Sounds like a very good time to wear them.

If you are asking if it is OK to do a Christmas Activity Day in November - there will be more dissent, but I can understand they need to make their money so will start early.

It's all good OP! I would!

I've been shopping and got us all new Christmas jumpers, I'm keeping them quiet and will bring them out whilst we are there Grin[santa]
