...to worry that spilled milk between floorboards will smell?

Spilled half a pint of milk on hallway floorboards - they are old and milk will have spilled between. Obvs I cleaned up the milk and mopped with detergent but I'm worried it will turn sour under the floorboards.

What can I do? Pour something else between to neutralise the smell?

Ugh.

Pour disinfectant or antibac down next.
Or add a teabag and some water....

There is a product called Odour Out, which I got from Lakeland. It has enzymes in it to break down odours. I used it when my daughter was sick all over the car seat and car or on the carpet at home. It’s really good but doesn’t work as well if disinfectant used first. I usually disinfect after I’ve sprayed it.
