AIBU?
to be in LOVE with my body brush
crochetmonkey74 · 04/10/2018 08:49
Got it as a present a few weeks ago and am addicted!
I feel like a bear scratching against a tree- can you brush yourself too much????
brainache78 · 04/10/2018 10:31
I read that too quickly as
'I love my bloody bush'
And thought 'each to their own...'
That is all I have to say about that.

hahaha
That is a whole other thread!

do you have a link to where I can buy one? sounds wonderful
crochetmonkey74 · 04/10/2018 11:34
I think you can get them anywhere mine is wooden long handled- it was a present but It will have been from maybe Boots/ Superdrug/ Body Shop- somewhere on the high st definitely.
It's been great- especially following up with moisturiser- I always find the winter makes me feel all dry and scaly.
Birdsgottafly · 04/10/2018 11:43
I've found that night leg cramps have lessened since using mine and my 'drainage' system feels better, as well. My skin looks better overall.
I got mine in Superdrug.

Birds that's brilliant help, DS1 is having huge growth spurts at the moment and really struggling with night cramps and growing pains, I'll get him one and see if it helps. Thank you!

I just looked them up on Amazon and they look amazing. I'm so dry and itchy all the time. Do you just brush yourself allover?
hoppipopla · 04/10/2018 11:54
Ooh you've inspired me to dig mine out. It's bloody lovely!
TonnoEMaionese · 04/10/2018 11:57
I got mine in Ikea from that bit where they do all the weird family stuff like bags, umbrellas, cycling safety stuff.

You brush yourself from feet towards your heart- then I do arms etc
You do it dry before a shower or bath- but I sometimes do it in the shower when wet- it's really nice on all your soft bits : )
Then when you get out -put loads of moisturiser on.
I'm interested in what you said Birdsgottafly about drainage - I have a little pocket of fluid above my left ankle so will see if that gets better
WhiteCoyote · 04/10/2018 12:38
I’ve honestly never heard of one before now. Deffo going to buy one next time I’m in town! I always get scaly legs in winter.
crochetmonkey74 · 04/10/2018 12:49
WhiteCoyote I wouldn't go long handled - I love mine but I have already seen you can get smaller hand held ones - I would get that next time- I often end up holding mine by the head as my handle is a bit unwieldy
namechangedbutneedadvice · 04/10/2018 12:53
I second a body brush! Infinitely better than a body scrub and I do feel detoxed after using it. It was a random present in a toiletries basket I got from SIL years ago and I've never stopped using it! God bless her!
MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 04/10/2018 12:53
You need mine OP - I can take the long handle off 😁.
TheMerryWidow1 · 04/10/2018 13:15
i use exfoliating gloves, is a body brush better or the same?
steff13 · 04/10/2018 13:35
I personally would like a brush better, but it's because I would have trouble reaching my whole back with my hands.
