Job interview shortly after giving birth

Have a bit of a dilemma-have got the possibility of applying for a promotion in current team. I’m heavily pregnant so the likelihood is that the interviews will be within a couple of weeks of when I have the baby (planned c section). Is it totally unrealistic to think this will be doable? The interview would probably only last an hour or so, and someone could wait in car with baby. I know it won’t be easy but this is a really good opportunity that my workplace are actively encouraging me to go for... what do people think?

If you do all you prep this side if the birth that will help.Also speak to HR,is there anyway you could be interviewed early?
You should apply and then see how you are post birth as a csection is major surgery.On the up side you will be able to sit on o e if those nice hard chairs they always give you as your nether regions with not have been massacred.

Thank you 😊 hadn’t thought about asking to be interviewed early, that might be a good plan!

I had an interview 13 days after giving birth. It's doable.

I didn't get the job, though...

@EnglishRose13
I had an interview 3 weeks after a c-section. Agree it's doable.
I didn't get the job either

Thanks, good to know I’m not being totally mad to consider going for it!
