To be disgusted at people with no manners?

In work doing a late shift. A woman I know is having pizza and chicken with a friend of mine, they usually let people order in pizza or similar if on a later shift.

Went up by her desk passing to go toilet and she offered me a slice, I took a chip as I'm having dinner when I get home, she let out a huge burp, a big horrible one, said ooh excuse me, and let out another even bigger one... no effort to keep it in whatsoever

Aibu to be disgusted and to think she has absolute no manners? Hmm

She is regularly quite vulgar in the stuff she talks about, like saying to her friends 'pick my shitty bum' if playfully 'joking'

Where do these people come from?

I used to work with a really vulgar nurse constant toilet talk, farting and sex talk such delights as ‘she need a big hard c**k up her arse that will put a smile on her face’ etc she was grim. Now I work in a office with 8 women constantly swearing it makes me cringe to be honest but that seems to be the culture there.

@SayZ thank god im not the only one who doesn't like it Hmm I'm no nun but seriously? Appropriate conversation like... this woman is the exact same. Anything that comes out of her mouth is filthy tbh.

Just been bringing in my washing and the ndn is cutting his nails with clippers out the window!! Could have puked tbh.

You can't always keep bodily noises in but the rest of the above two posts is pretty rank.

RangeRider · 24/09/2018 19:40

Make that the first 2 posts.... And the ndn and his toenails...

Marie0 · 24/09/2018 19:40

OMG - do people really behave like this? Luckily I work with people who have manners!

TeachesOfPeaches · 24/09/2018 19:40

Woman was clipping her nails on busy commuter train at 7.45 this morning Shock

Bimgy85 · 24/09/2018 19:43

@RangeRider no you can't but you can certainly try keep them a little bit less noisy / aggressive.. this woman opens her mouth wide and enjoys doing it

I'm having a problem with my ds1 just now, he's 10. He had lovely manners when he was younger people always commented on how polite he was etc. His younger brother is too bit today while we were out I realised he is just not being polite anymore. He pushes past people, doesn't say please or thank you, eats like a pig with his mouth open the whole time. I was tired hear g myself tell him off for being so rude by the end of the day!

Thatstheendofmytether · 24/09/2018 19:44

Can't stand bad manners. I've managed to train my dp a bit over the years, he's getting better and is very polite outside to other people, just not at home.

RangeRider · 24/09/2018 19:50

@RangeRider no you can't but you can certainly try keep them a little bit less noisy / aggressive.. this woman opens her mouth wide and enjoys doing it I agree with that. There's a polite expression of wind (!) and letting rip with enthusiasm. And if there's no dog to blame it on then you try harder to hold it in!!

Toenails out the window?!GrinGrinGrin mind boggles

Thesmallthings · 24/09/2018 20:07

I have a friend that once she's burps she's at it for at least 10 minutes, and they are loud and not even a an excuse me. Along with pulling back snot noise and it makes me want to stab her with a spoon. She also thinks its hilarious to fart ,it seriously makes my blood boil. Yeah you can't help it at times but thersz no need at all to try not to hold stifle them or at least pardon your self.

smashyourglasses · 24/09/2018 20:11

People on public transport who cough or sneeze without covering their mouth. What the fuck are you doing?!

SayZ · 24/09/2018 20:13
