I had my iPhone screen replaced as I smashed it. I now can't see the screen when I have my sunglasses on and I don't think it is a genuine iPhone screen. It also has a weird brownish tint to the glass.
Anyone have any experience I this and know whether I am within my rights to return and ask for my money back £90. Or because they did not state it was a genuine one are they okay to sell me this?

I personally think they're fine to sell it to you and you should have checked beforehand to make sure it is genuine. If you did do that and they stated it is a genuine one then that's a different matter.

The thing is that I drive around a lot in the day for my job and use the google maps app to find where I'm going, I now can't do this as I need my sunglasses on. I will now have to get it replaced anyway and pay another £90 somewhere else, Apple I assume.

I think if they didn’t say it was genuine and you didn’t ask/specify they have done nothing wrong,

Presumably you didn’t have it done at Apple - in which case you should have checked if it was genuine or not

If it wasn’t fixed at an apple store you shouldn’t have assumed it would be a a genuine apple screen (they are more commonly referred to as ‘original’ apple screens).

You should have specified if you wanted a genuine apple screen, most places won’t use a genuine apple screen unless you specifically ask for one as they are significantly more expensive.

It will probably cost a lot more than £90 through apple.
