than a tissue in the dark wash?

Just been putting the tissues -on washing on the stand with the dog standing next to me. He looks like he has been playing in the snow.

Have you got a tumble drier. If so dry it in there and tissue will ( mostly ) collect in the filter.

OnlyToWin · 23/09/2018 15:19

Sadly not. Am hoping when it dries I will be able to remove it with a lint roller. It’s all the school uniforms.

I feel your pain. The school uniforms 😪

flapjackfairy · 23/09/2018 15:41

Well i concur that there are not many more annoying things in life than a tissue in the washing machine drama.

OnlyToWin · 23/09/2018 15:51
Grin I know. Dark times.

Just as bad as putting white uniforms in on their own with a colour catcher n coming out pink! No stray pink or red items in there Confused

ichifanny · 23/09/2018 15:59

Yes a nappy or sanitary towel

Andthentherewere5 · 23/09/2018 16:02

I managed to wash a dead mouse last week. That was quite annoying.

foxyknoxy30 · 23/09/2018 16:04

I put my washing on at night to empty first thing in the morning and when I see a hankie has been in it I honestly feel like screaming 😲😲I hate it so much all the mess for such a small thing .

OnlyToWin · 23/09/2018 16:06

Dead Mouse Shock
Was the washing machine determined as its cause of death or did it just get a posthumous rinse?

This is why I only buy the balm infused ones because they clump rather than disintegrate and are so much easier to deal with if you wash one!

OnlyToWin · 23/09/2018 16:09

That’s a great tip. Thank you!!
Send that into Good Housekeeping immediately!!

I think I got it from mumsnet. I usually get all my useful info from here!

florenceheadache · 23/09/2018 16:35

Personally I find mosquitoes and flies more annoying. Just re-wash the works with as much of the tissue removed as possible.
