AIBU to be really annoyed my misleading adverts? Specifically this Colgate total proof toothpaste.
I saw the advert and thought it was a great idea - toothpaste that tells you how clean your teeth are!
The first time I used it there was hardly any change of colour. ‘Brilliant’ I thought, I have really clean teeth!
But being a sceptical old mare I thought I’d try it out. I didn’t brush my teeth for a whole week, and ate loads of Haribo and drink gallons of coke to build up a nice thick layer of plaque.
Guess what - the toothpaste hardly changed colour at all! How can these companies get away with these misleading advertisements!? £4 down the drain, and that’s a lot of money to me!
