My Nan tragically passed away on weds morning and as you can imagine the last couple of days have been a blur. We have sorted out all funeral arrangements etc so decided to carry on with our plans as to get some normality in our lives. We (me, my mum and the kids) plan to watch the local football and get kfc. DP is working so doesn’t finish till 4. Yesterday I tried to tell him but he was too busy talking about work so then after I totally forgot. He’s just called me to ask me if I could do something for h8m and I told him I was going out. He said I suppose I have to fend for myself then. I said yeah sorry I forgot to tell you yesterday. He started saying how he wish he’d knew so he could get something out to save money. I apologised but he still made a deal about it so I said outright.
‘ why you making a big deal about it, you have to fend for yourself end of story’
Then asked if I could walk back to get kfc after the football for him where I said no as it’s a good 30 mins walk and he’d be quicker in car.
Naturally everyone is agitated. He was very close with my Nan too. I know it seems like a very minimal thing to argue about but I dunno it just pissed me off. I’m not being out of order am I?
A/n me and my mum often take the kids out just us and he’s totally okay with it but today he’s was being an asshole about it.
