I'm 46, normal periods up til now, then I get one a few days earlier than normal, horrendously heavy and its still going on 10 days later. anybody else have this?

You need to see your GP. We can't diagnose you, OP. I had a whole month of bleeding one December, but then it stopped and all went back to normal.

Could be perimenopause as your cycle can go a bit haywire then. Mine did.

Check with your GP if you are worried.
