So it's taken me 8 long years of lessons, 4 theory tests (2 of which I passed) and 3 practical tests but I finally did it!

Passed my driving test this morning with a very nervous examiner at a test centre in an area I didn't know well. 6 minor faults in total.

I'm so bloody chuffed! I can go anywhere!

Yey for you, congratulations. The world is your lobster now Wink

Go for a very careful drive and revel in your newfound freedom, although where I am it is very wet so drive really carefully. Smile

Well done! Thats brilliant! You must feel amazing Smile

I am desperate to learn to drive. I failed a couple of tests years ago and then had to give up for a while.

Now it just seems so expensive and hard but I might use you as inspiration to try again. I can't imagine how happy I'd feel if I did it.

BarryTheKestrel · 22/09/2018 12:33

Well done you!!!

I'm waiting to be medically fit to drive again before recommencing lessons, however it's been 4 years so far and no one can tell me when I'll be safe to be behind the wheel again.

It gives me hope knowing that people, whatever the circumstances can pass many years after starting lessons!
