So this is the dilemma....

I met a guy online, we’ve chatted on the phone, I’ve checked out his Facebook page and LinkedIn. He’s ticking all boxes so far and seems genuinely interested. We are (supposed to be) going out tonight to a local village, confirmed during our last phone call on Wednesday. We didn’t confirm details and he hasn’t picked up the whatsapp I sent him this afternoon, asking what time we were meeting.

AIBU to call him?

Too late, I called him and he didn’t answer. Yep, I’ve been stood up! I’m glad I’ve got a bottle of wine in the fridge 🍷

Feeling for u, I know how frustrating it is when they flake on you.

If he doesn't get in touch or makes an excuse....this is him showing another side of him that shouldn't tick boxes. If he gets in touch again after today....move on by and shout NEXT!

Yes he’s replied to say that he can’t make it, he thinks he has tonsillitis!!

He has definitely taken the trash out for me.

The question is why do people (men in my case), money (it was not a free site), on dating sites and then time (3weeks messaging and talking on the phone), to just mess about?
