I am just catching up on the X Factor from last weekend and the more I watch it the more I really like him. He just seems so nice and genuine.

I thought he was going to be a cocky arse but I don't even think he is pretending to be a good un. He just is Smile

Anyone with me?

Me too, he does seem like he is a lovely guy. He doesn't seem to want to grab all the attention either.

FatimaLovesBread · 20/09/2018 19:16

I bloody love him

MrsJayy · 20/09/2018 19:17

He is a total sweetheart isn't he and the perfect balance to the shy and retiring Robbie and Ayda Grin

prettypossums · 20/09/2018 19:17

I find him pleasant enough but rather dull

Witchofzog · 20/09/2018 19:19

Haha at Robbie and Ayda being shy and retiring. It's because they Are "just so much fun". I reckon off camera Robbie is a right miserable arse.

But lovely Louis Halo. Didn't he mentor someone from a few years ago without publicity just because he wanted him to do well?

Yup I agree. I really wasn't sure when he was announced as a judge (although anyone is better than Louis and Sharon IMO) but he comes across as a really nice lad. I find his interactions with Simon quite funny at times, and he's good with the contestants - not afraid to be honest but fair and nice with it.

PrimalLass · 20/09/2018 19:23

He's a sweetheart. I probably have more pictures of Louis in my phone than of my own children.

wildthingsinthenight · 20/09/2018 19:23

He's the best judge they've had on there I think. He has the balance just right.

MrsExpo · 20/09/2018 20:05

Another Louis fan here. I think he was a good choice as an X Factor judge ... been there, done that and got the T shirt so he can speak from experience. Seems like a really genuinely nice guy too ....

Amanduh · 20/09/2018 20:15

Ewwww no. He’s sleazy, is an absolute brat (niece has served him at the airport many a time) is known for being rude and petulant. No thankyou!

Witchofzog · 20/09/2018 20:25

@amanduh No? Really? Damn Shock

PrimalLass · 20/09/2018 20:30

I'm sure everyone has their moments, especially when young and worked to the bone. Louis is generally known for being polite and kind and very charitable.

I'll stop now as I'm sounding like the obsessive that I truly am.

LadyLance · 20/09/2018 20:32

Is he known for being rude and petulant? That's not something I've ever heard about him- he's obviously had some difficult times over the last few years so probably hasn't always been super polite.

He gives a lot of money to charity without making a big thing of it- which I think is the sort of thing who says a lot about a person.

LarryFreakinStylinson · 20/09/2018 20:45

Oh I think he’s alright.

Oblomov18 · 20/09/2018 20:54

I didn't know much about his personality before, but I think he's lovely and complements and tones down the brashness of Robbie and his wife.

BeetlebumShesAGun · 20/09/2018 20:58

I’m the total opposite. I get very very strong bad vibes from him.

He’s sleazy to the girls and patronising to the men. “Darlin’” and calling people “lad” that are twice his age. Nope.

Disclaimer: after me saying this for the tenth time, DH suggested he was quite reminiscent of my abusive ex and it is true so I may be projecting! Grin

PrimalLass · 20/09/2018 21:19

Who was he sleazy to?

liverbird10 · 20/09/2018 21:21

Seems a nice enough lad; resembles a star trapped in a glass vase.

liverbird10 · 20/09/2018 21:22

*stoat, not star.

Pissing autocorrect!!

MeditationTeaHouse · 20/09/2018 21:37

Louis is a total sweetheart. He's done some lovely things for charity without grabbing attention like buying all the toys on the Amazon wish list for Christmas for a children's hospice. He has quietly kept supporting children he met on for charity meets through 1D, and did a lot of work with his lovely mum Jay.
He always seems to have time to chat and take pics with fans and is known to give really good hugs too.
I was very lucky to see him at Soccer Aid and was just opposite him when he was standing with his ball girl Summer who was profoundly deaf. He was so lovely with her - guided her, and put his hand on her shoulder behind when the crowd was cheering so she knew he was there. And he signed to her as well. Her mum was so positive about Summer's experience. He is really one of the good guys in the industry. I'm glad the general public are seeing the real Louis now. Not the fake headlines pushed by Dan Wattpad.

AHintOfStyle · 20/09/2018 21:46

I love him to pieces. I think anyone who ‘knows’ anything about Louis would not agree that he is sleazy towards females.

jaseyraex · 20/09/2018 21:50

He really is the loveliest person. Whoever said he is sleazy and a brat must have caught him on a very bad day. He's a very genuine guy, I say that as someone who stalked One Direction a bit met Louis many times Grin

BlancheM · 20/09/2018 21:54

Wasn't too keen on him when I knew him but won't go into that as many teenagers are capable of being arseholes! I thought him mum was a lovely, lovely woman though.

MrsJayy · 20/09/2018 22:09

They were teenagers in 1d they were obviously affected by the starry thing of you are wonderful but he comes over as a nice lad and not washed out like a few of the 1d boys
